Hi there! Thanks for stumbling on by. I’m Sarah Janelle and I’m a full time Artist working in Palm Beach, South FL. For years I’ve worked as a photographer, which I still love to do if I’m not in my studio painting. In my core though, I love to simply create art and help others do the same.

I grew up in the small Victorian town of Port Townsend, WA, a bubble in the North West. I moved to Jupiter, FL with my family at 14 and have lived here since. While both of these cultures wound up heavily influencing my life, the transition drove me to use art as a grounding medium. Art has always held a very close place to me whether it was helping me or simply a way to let loose my imagination.

Growing up my family struggled with money, so getting supplies to draw, or a camera to take photos wasn’t the easiest. Thankfully my family supported me with my passion when possible and would buy me art supplies with spare money they could expend. As I turned working age, I began spending my money on different supplies and mediums. This really opened a new world for my art, letting me delve further into more mediums and study different methods. That’s not to say that materials made the difference, you really can create wonderful art with even Crayola.

With age and time, I was able to put more focus into my art, and the general classes in school became focused art classes in college. I went on through college to work in the Palm Beach State College art department as a student aid and Adobe Photoshop tutor. While Attending the school I also earned two awards in the Student Art Shows, one in 2018 for my photography print, and another in 2019 for a charcoal figure drawing. It was an amazing experience I’m incredibly thankful for. Hopefully I’ll continue to learn, work with more leaders, and have more fun as I do!

With this website I aim to share my art with you, work with you, and maybe even help you learn along the way. If you think I can help you, please don’t hesitate to ask!

I work in the arts because I love seeing people be expressed and proud of who they are. I also love creating pieces for people to hold in their hearts and hang in their homes. When my client sees and loves the result, I’m happy at the end of the day.

When it comes to mixed media, I believe you should create whatever your imagination brings to you. I love visualizing my ideas onto a canvas or through my camera. Likewise, if I can help someone bring their ideas into reality, or help teach someone a craft they’ve been dying to try out, I’m there in a heartbeat. Creating and crafting should be on everyone’s can-do list; I’d love to help you because that project is probably a lot more fun than you’d think.

If you’re looking for a painting, a lesson, or if you’re looking for pictures for you and your family, please contact me! I’m already dying to get to know you and to see what we can make together.
