How do I book a photo shoot with you?

Please contact me here! I try to work with everyone to create their ideal photo set, so it helps me if you have an idea of what you’re looking for in advance! I generally ask the client to supply the location, but I have a few saved just in case. 

What styles of photography do you do?

For my business I work mainly in portraiture for multi genres, family photos, and couples! Whether you’re two best friends looking to get together and make memories, or a company seeking product photos or sponsored content, you found the right place. 

I’m always excited to try new things, so don’t be afraid to ask! The worst answer you can get is a no, it’s nothing less than you had before you asked! Be brave! 

What equipment do you use?

My current camera of choice for my main sets is a Canon 77d. Due to budget I’m unable to upgrade at the moment but I’m lucky enough to sport a handy 50mm f/1.4g lens that I’m dead in love with! I also use a 24mm f/1.8.

I don’t currently use any external flash as I love working with natural light!

Do you do hair and makeup for the photo

shoot? 

Currently, I do not have a make up artist that I work with for my photo shoots. Clients are welcomed to come as they feel most confident, or for a $10 fee if the client brings their makeup I can help with application. 

I’m WANT amazing portraits, but I don’t know

to do for them. Can you help me? 

A common problem for most people seeking the constant pursuit of new content is just how to come up with all they need. 

I highly recommend making a Pinterest account and creating a board for your photo shoot where you can pin inspiration! I’d love to collab with you on one of these. They help from outfits, to location, to hair and make up! Just add what you like to the board and we can build from there.

We can then go over the photos to coordinate the best photo shoot for you.

I need to cancel my photo shoot, how do I?

and can I get a refund on my deposit? 

I understand that life happens and emergencies occur in the blink of an eye; please e-mail me immediately at sjanellephoto@gmail.com to notify me about canceling. 

~In order to receive your deposit back please notify me of the cancellation two weeks prior to the photoshoot. 

~If you fail to notify me that you need to cancel the photoshoot before the two weeks leading up to the scheduled date, I will not refund the deposit. This is because as a independent worker, my time is my money and your photoshoot slot would not be able to be refilled by another client. 

I’m not happy with the results of the photos,

how can you fix this?

I’m so sorry to hear that! 

  1. If you’re unhappy with the editing style of your photos, please send me a sample of the aesthetic you were hoping for and I can work with you on getting them where you want them! I grant each client 2 image fixes.

    If you’re unhappy with the photo quality you received, please write me a detailed statement about your concerns with the photos and I can either work with you about setting up a new shoot for a discounted rate or in extreme cases a partial refund! Due to the time I put into the photo shoots and post development I’m unable to refund the whole amount, however I don’t want anyone walking away with an unhappy experience. Please contact me with your concerns!

Domestic Shipping

Currently my store only ships to the United States! All of my packages are shipped using USPS first class mail so please allow up to two weeks for your package to arrive once it’s shipped, package preparation may take up to a week so please be patient! Your art is getting the care it needs to arrive safely to you~

Lost Package 

Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear. If you’ve received a shipping confirmation e-mail please contact me 3 weeks after no sign of the package appearing and we can discuss how to fix this.

How often do you update the store?

My storefront gets updated everyone 1-2 months depending on the season.
